SDG's sticker book
An interactive sticker book to educate children about the 17 Sustainable Developmental Goals.

Overview
This project was based on the 17 Sustainable Developmental Goals that are created to be used by all as an action plan for peace and prosperity. We were challenged to displayed the content of theses goals in an educational format for either children or undergraduate students.
Research
This was a research heavy project and it began with my own research into SDG's and understanding their motives. For this project I got to pick 5 goals to focus on in my designs and from this I started to focus on who I was going to design for and what I wanted to create.
After mind-mapping ideas for both children and students I decided my target audience for this project would be children. This was because I had not designed for them before and thought it would be a fun challenge. After further research into what sort of a product I wanted to create for them I landed on a interactive sticker book with a printable paper chain activity, once completed.

Sketches
Paper chains
My initial sketches were focusing on how the paper chains would look as I had never created a physical element to any project before. I wanted to see how the SDG's would look on the paper chains and if any of the goals were too long, how I could shorten them and finally I created a prototype to see if the final idea would work.

Game screens
When I started sketching the interfaces for the interactive sticker book I knew that I needed basics screens such as a welcome screen, completion screen and one dedicated to showing the paper chains and how to make them.
However, I spent majority of this time exploring the different scenarios and environments I could create that focused on certain SDG's. I would choose one SDG for each scene and create stickers that the user would be able to drag in that were associated with the chosen goal to complete the picture.

Mid-fi mockups
The mid-fi mockups of this project brought my ideas to life with the introduction of colour and typography. The use of colour was important at this stage as I was appealing to a younger audience so the action buttons and the scenes needed to be bright and bold.

At this point in my designs I had used images I had found online to make into stickers however, my next task was to create my own using Procreate.
Hi-fi mockups
After a week or two of fixing issues from the mid-fi mockups and including more screens such as the paper chains printing document and creating my own stickers, I had the final version of the interactive sticker book.
